Comedians Dave Atkinson and Meg Mackay invite hilarious guests to go back in time to study the popular culture and history of a year and then watch the highest grossing movie of that year to try and find out why it was that year's Big Gross Movie.

This week, Dave and Meg load up on various leftover nogs and head back to 1983 to watch it's second highest-grossing movie: Terms of Endearment with guest comedian Sam Burns!  We do a Canada Corner first half and go over a deadly toilet fire and a guy who landed a dead 767 on a racetrack before diving into a movie about a gin witch, her problematic daughter and the daughter's flappy husband who is actually full-on named Flap.  Good times!

We go over Mae West's cheeky puppet innuendos, an air disaster, several other disasters and then chew through the obviously problematic but wicked pretty cartoon made by moustaches, amphetamines and aaaaaaall the cigarettes.
