This week it's a Meg Remembers Special! After we recorded last week's episode Dave and Meg each recapped a favorite movie from memory that the other hadn't seen. Dave's didn't record right, but Meg's did, so this week Meg is going over The Dark Crystal! Being sick of the hero's journey in a hero's journey, everything being puppets, and the meaning of the bird people and whatnot.
This week, we just throw some nuclear whatever in the tank and head back to the radioactive everything year of 1953 to have a look around and watch its second highest-grossing movie From Here to Eternity with guest comedian Jennifer McAuliffe! We go over a bit of history about a lot of wives, then recap the best made movie about not very much at all 1953 has to offer.
This week, Meg and Dave take a Stallone Hubris joyride to 1994 to watch the incredibly goodbad The Specialist. Sylvester Stallone IS Ray Quick, a bomb man who knows James Woods, also a Bomb Man. Then Sharon Stone is also there, but look out, because explosions! We go over feeling bad for Sharon Stone, Eric Roberts' traumatizing pants and more!
This week we cover the time machine in boas and fishnets and head back to 1975 and... I guess ever since to watch it's technically 2nd highest grossing movie: The Rocky Horror Picture Show with guest comedian Rebecca Reeds! We go over Tim Curry, pube prevalence and just how great everybody's legs are.
This week, we waxed up the time skis and glided back to 1980 to have a look around and watch its second highest-grossing movie: 9 to 5 with guest comedian Amanda Day! We go over this one time some dudes drilled a hole that made a lake eat an island before we take a look at old-timey bridesmaids with Dolly Parton in it: 9 to 5.
This week, we throw a few thousand AOL Cds into the time furnace and head back to 2000 to have a look around and watch its second highest-grossing movie: Gladiator with special guest Diana McCallum! We first go over a stupid racist submarine and then parse the game of thrones WWE tale featuring dream wheat that is Gladiator.
This week, we take on ballast so we don't tip over on the way and fly the time machine to 1972 to have a look around and watch its second highest-grossing movie: The Poseidon Adventure with comedian Clare Belford! We first go over a man made of badass who flew to the moon and then go over a disaster movie that has a fat lady (her words), Gene Hackman as a priest who hates god, Ernest Borgnine as a cop who hates everything, and Leslie Nielsen as not a funny character, which is weird.
This week, Meg is on assignment on the East Coast, so to handle her time paddle, Guest Meg Ryan Horwood is here to help us back to 1964 again to have a look around and watch it's third highest-grossing movie Mary Poppins with guest Comedian Nour Hadidi! We go over a stoned busride of odd importance before going over the very long, very odd tale of an all-powerful wind witch who teaches a bank guy to not be such a stiff jerk.
This week, we set the time machine to piercing gaze seeking and shoot back to 1958 for yet another Paul Newman Special! We watch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, a movie based on a play by Tennessee Williams, writer of The Glass Menagerie, A Streetcar Named Desire and mostly those. We go over the worst children in Cinema, Why Gooper can't catch a break, and the fact that a character's actual oft-spoken name is Gooper.
This week, we make a shire-leaf run to 2001 in the time machine to have a look around and watch its second highest-grossing movie The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring with comedian Blayne Smith! We go over a fellow and his plane ride then go over the tale of a stoned wizard who finds out his dealer has the one ring to rule them all.
This week we load the time parlour with gin and smokes and head back to 1950 to have a look around and watch its second highest-grossing movie All About Eve with comedian Bryn Pottie. We go over the slapstick stealing of a magic rock before talking about a stalker movie about classy folks insulting each other slyly with the skill of gods.
This week we throw a wig on the time machine and zip back to 1982 to have a look around and see its second highest-grossing movie: Tootsie with comedian Nigel Grinstead. We go over some background on that time a guy tried to kill the pope with a bayonet, then go over the endless tomfoolery of Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie.
This week, after subjecting ourselves to 2007 and Spider Man 3, we swung the time machine around, picked up Actor/Comedian Vance Banzo and went straight to 2005 to hurt ourselves and watch it number 2 grossing movie: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. We go over an old baby lady, the time a hankie stopped George W Bush from exploding and then get angry as we try to go over a real big mess Georgie made.
This week, we crumble under the awful world and escape in the time machine to 2007 to catch an awful movie that's still better than engaging with reality, Spider Man 3! We go over ancient child lockets, money cancer, and Peter Parker's murder pants.
This week, we stoke up a good head of time steam and head back to 1996, this time to watch its 2nd highest-grossing movie: Twister with special guest Ted Morris! We go over some 1996 and Devon Sawa-related gems before plowing headlong into whatever the hell twister is! Steaks not Stakes! (Aren't we clever?)
This week, we strap many guns to the time machine and fly strategically past the moon on our way back to 1989 to watch it's second highest-grossing movie: Batman with special guest Ryan Horwood! We go over a 1989 beer-related nationwide pub crawl before diving into the reason there are still batman movies at all: Tim Burton's weird-ass joker movie featuring tiny Batman.
This week, we jump the time machine over a bridge and head back to 1977 to watch it's second highest-grossing movie Smokey and the Bandit with comedian Dylan Gott! We go over a pardon, a book king, and the hillbilliest dern thing you ever did (garbled)!
This week, the curse is broken as Dave, Meg and guest comedian Craig Fay fire up the time machine to head back to 1990 to talk about Russian McDonald's and that year's number two Big Gross Movie: Home Alone! Mostly we marvel at how fragile we are as we squirmed more at falling on ice than being set on fire.
This week we hit the redial button on the time Machine for our 5th trip to 1986, this time to see it's big number two movie "Crocodile" Dundee (it's his nickname, you see) with guest comedian Sara Hennesey! We go over what train accidents, Maine and cocaine can do to a fella and then go over a movie made of setups for Paul Hogan to look cool in.
This week we leave the time machine in the garage and take the time bicycles on a little hop back to 2014 to have a look around and watch it's highest grossing movie Transformers: Age of Extinction with special guest Sam Burns. We go over Putin's plunders, the plane that were hard to find and then are assaulted in the brain by a movie where a giant truck robot shoots Fraser Crane then fights and rides a dinosaur that is also a robot.
This week we underestimate the yield of our time machine's nuclear engine and blast into 1954 to look around and watch its highest grossing movie: Rear Window. We talk about supreme court decisions of some import, a giant explosion that sorta created Godzilla and then go over the suprisingly kick-ass Rear Window with fromsuperheroes.com creator/writer Diana McCallum.

We talk about the world nearly exploding a few times, an italian man who has 105 problems and then review the little bear hover dirtbike desert bumhole epic Return of the Jedi with special guest Shawn Hogan.
This week we invite Andrew Ivimey from fromsuperheroes.com to growl ridiculously into the time vortex and stop off in 2008 to look around and watch the highest grossing movie: The Dark Knight. We talk about space, George "terrifically unpopular" Bush and the boring but shitty Harper moves before going into an excellent movie: The Dark Knight.
This week we crashed the time machine in 1960 trying to take pictures of Russia and wound up flying back on some Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine after having a look around and watching that year's highest grossing movie: Swiss Family Robinson. We talk about the right to a 15 cent slice of pie, the space dogs that didn't explode, the many Russians who did, and a guy getting abducted getting off the bus from work where you get to cheer for the kidnappers for a change. Then we talk about a movie where a family of mechanical engineers build a fantastic/deadly Island B&B and defend it from what we have decided were Kryptonian pirates.
