This week Meg and Dave take the time machine on a pleasure cruise to Christmas 1989 to watch it's hilarious flop and study in megalomaniacal macho Tango and Cash; wherein Kurt Russel and Sylvester Stallone play out a fever dream dad fantasy.

Jun 29, 2016

This week we funneled seventeen tons of Kerosene per second into the time engines and checked out 1967 and its highest-grossing movie The Jungle Book with Special Guest Alison Dore!

Check out our tumblr for historical photos and whatnots.

This week, after still having no idea what the hell was up with 1987 after our last episode, Dave and Meg flew back this week to give the year another shot by watching the movie we assume would make all the money today: The Superhero one.  So we watched Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.  We go over Lex Luthor's useless nephew, A Love square that winds up in a sitcom, and the mechanics of hucking things into the sun.

Jun 15, 2016

This week with special guest John Mostyn Dave lights the pilot and cranks the gauges on the time machine to pick up Meg in the Mesozoic era before stopping in 1987 on the way back to stop time assassins from killing us as babies and to look around and watch its highest-grossing movie: Three Men and a Baby.

Jun 8, 2016

Meg fell out of the time machine again so Dave swung by and picked up Special guest Will Noye to continue our survey of even-numbered Star Trek films.

Jun 1, 2016

This week we batten down the time hatches and make our way to 1992 to have a look around and watch it's highest-grossing movie Aladdin with special guest Kat Angus.  We talk about the end of the cold war and such before going over the wearing pajamas and singing along classic: Aladdin.

May 25, 2016

This week we have a slow-talking child we found accidentally pilot the time machine back to 1999 to look around and watch it's highest grossing movie Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace with special guest Julien Dionne!  We go over Kosovo, Y2K, some sad stuff and then push on through the somehow worse than we remembered Phantom Menace.  Jar-Jar steps in poopy you see, and we are to take this as droll.

May 18, 2016

This week we leave the time machine in the garage and take the time bicycles on a little hop back to 2014 to have a look around and watch it's highest grossing movie Transformers: Age of Extinction with special guest Sam Burns.  We go over Putin's plunders, the plane that were hard to find and then are assaulted in the brain by a movie where a giant truck robot shoots Fraser Crane then fights and rides a dinosaur that is also a robot.

May 11, 2016

This week we slip back to 1977 to watch Slap Shot at one of the only theatres not showing Star Wars with Special Guest Ryan Horwood.  We go over the filthiest movie the show has yet done and decide 70s hockey was kinda awful to be in the middle of.

May 4, 2016

This week we armoured up the time machine and dodged messerschmitt fire to check out 1942 and it's highest grossing movie: Bambi.  We learn about how everything was terrible, go over the craziest raid and then talk about the classic giant-eyed cute animal movie Bambi with comedian and returning guest Shawn Hogan.

Apr 27, 2016

This week, as promised, we take a time uber back to 2008 with Indiana Jones guest Nigel Grinstead to for some reason subject ourselves to it's almost big gross movie: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.  We also drank enough beer to sing more than usual.

Apr 20, 2016

This week we ignore the Brown time treaty of 2025 and fly our time machine smack-dab into 1985 to look around before watching its highest-grossing movie: Back to the Future with Darren Springer.  We go over a horrifying plethora of plane crashes, a french mission against hippies and a tuna scandal before uncomfortably revisiting a cinematic... gem?

Apr 13, 2016

This week we continue our examination of Paul Newman by going over the 1967 classic Cool Hand Luke with comedian Kyle Hickey.  We talk about the gang of incomprehensible hicks that live through the least give-a-crap hero in the history of film.

Apr 6, 2016

This week we throw a hyperdrive on the time machine and zip back to 1977 to have a look around and watch its highest grossing movie Star Wars with special guest Ashley Moffatt.  We go over disco, some looting, a real piece of work orange juice shill and then go over a movie about a whiny desert boy who... whines.

Mar 30, 2016

This week we underestimate the yield of our time machine's nuclear engine and blast into 1954 to look around and watch its highest grossing movie: Rear Window.  We talk about supreme court decisions of some import, a giant explosion that sorta created Godzilla and then go over the suprisingly kick-ass Rear Window with fromsuperheroes.com creator/writer Diana McCallum.

Mar 23, 2016

This week we slap streamers on the time machine and pleasure cruise back to 2010 to look around and watch its highest grossing movie Toy Story 3 with 1st episode guest and comedian Bobby Knauff.  We talk about oil spills, try to define the american tea party movement, fail, and then go over a movie that has a strawberry scented nihilist totalitarian bear in it.

Check out our tumblr for history notes and pictures.

Mar 16, 2016

This week Meg sits in the pilot sac and launches the time machine into 1980 to catch her favorite movie: Flash Gordon with comedian Blayne Smith.  We go over the pedigree of John Carter thrice removed and recap an assemblage of mescaline hallucinations scored by Queen.

Mar 9, 2016

This week we elaborately dance about the time machine before getting in and slowly drag-racing our way back to 1978 to look around and watch the highest grossing movie: Grease with special guest Comedian/podcaster/nice person Jackie Kashian!  We talk about a year that seems to have been mostly snowstorms, serial killers and an Australian Grocer prank then we go over a collection of the catchiest songs you've ever heard nestled within a surrealist high school nightmare. Oh and the dancing is awesome!

This week we go galavanting in the time machine in search of Paul Newman movies and lasso the 1966 mystery Harper with Rob Mailloux

Feb 24, 2016

This week we throw a few adorable tiny bear... things into the time furnace and fly our machine back to 1983 to have a glance around and see it's highest grossing movie  Return of the Jedi!  We talk about the world nearly exploding a few times, an italian man who has 105 problems and then review the little bear hover dirtbike desert bumhole epic Return of the Jedi with special guest Shawn Hogan.

Feb 17, 2016

This week we invite Andrew Ivimey from fromsuperheroes.com to growl ridiculously into the time vortex and stop off in 2008 to look around and watch the highest grossing movie: The Dark Knight.  We talk about space, George "terrifically unpopular" Bush and the boring but shitty Harper moves before going into an excellent movie: The Dark Knight.

Feb 10, 2016

This week we crashed the time machine in 1960 trying to take pictures of Russia and wound up flying back on some Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine after having a look around and watching that year's highest grossing movie: Swiss Family Robinson.  We talk about the right to a 15 cent slice of pie, the space dogs that didn't explode, the many Russians who did, and a guy getting abducted getting off the bus from work where you get to cheer for the kidnappers for a change.  Then we talk about a movie where a family of mechanical engineers build a fantastic/deadly Island B&B and defend it from what we have decided were Kryptonian pirates.

Feb 3, 2016

This week we cheap out and coast on time fumes to 2013 to look around and watch the highest grossing movie Frozen with comedian Chantel Marostica.  We go over the NSA looking at things, Pope swapping and Hadfield's mustache then go over a movie about an ice witch princess queen and her sister who is also a princess.

Jan 27, 2016

This week we put on our best black suits and say goodbye to a man who's been in an awful lot of our favorite movies (and a fair few Big Gross ones) Mr. Alan Rickman, by watching a movie of his that should have been bigger and Grosser: Galaxy Quest.

Check out our tumblr for our g'bye and more Galaxy Quest stuff.

Jan 20, 2016

This week we punch each other out of the windshield of the time machine and land in 1981 to have a look around and watch the highest grossing movie: Raiders of the Lost Ark with our Indy expert comedian Nigel Grinstead.  We talk about world leader shootings, Mrs. Thatcher's stone heart and then watch Indiana Jones punch and shoot and whip things and go over it for you.
