This week my fearless co-host and time pilot Meg Mackay is unavailable as she is fighting her way out of a pocket universe where everything is spoons, but worry not as guest Meg Amanda Day is here to shovel time coal into the machine.  We get it back to 1931 this week to look around and watch its big gross movie: Frankenstein.  We talk about India, foppish dandies, and how Hitler was a real piece of work, then we go over the horror classic: Frankenstein with guest Andrew Barr, host of the horror movie comedy show guts for laughs at Comedy Bar.

This week we give the time machine a bit of a break and hop back to the once futuristic year 2000 to have a look around and see it's highest grossing movie: Mission: Impossible 2 with comedian Jarrett Campbell! We talk about the dot-com crash and other whoopsie-goofs like the first Bush Presidency before going over the insane Mission: Impossible 2, a movie with gun doves, kicking and a real lady problem.  

This week we put chrome tail fins on the time machine and check out 1959 with comedian Hisham Kelati, a lovely fellow.  We talk about the horrible fifties, then go over the best movie ever made about guys giving each other water.

This week we dress up the time machine in Gold and head to 1963 to look around and watch its big gross movie: Cleopatra.  We talk about the Birmingham campaign, Kennedy things, and then talk about the four hour money fire that is Cleopatra.  With special guest Ted Morris.

This week the new parts come in for the time machine so we run her in heading to 1971 to check it out and watch it's big gross movie: The French Connection.  We talk about Bangladeshi independence, an alarmingly reasonable prison riot, parliamentary swearing and the confusing plate of mysterious movie goulash that is The French Connection with Andrew Ivimey, comedian and boss guy at texts from superheroes.

This week we leave the Time machine absolutely alone and review our favorite movie of this summer: Mad Max: Fury Road. War Boys! Immortan Joe! Explosions! FURIOSA! This week we strap some yellow barrels to the time machine and shoot back to 1975 to have a look-see and watch their big gross movie: Jaws.  We talk about Vietnam, trying to kill Gerry Ford a few times and then talk about this kid Stevie Spielberg's little fish movie called Jaws.

This week we skip the time machine back to 1988 and watch its Big Gross movie: Rain Man.  We discuss wars, elections, inventions, and which meat product most resembles Dave's nipples.  With special guest Ben Miner. 

This week we fly the time machine through a kaleidoscopic rendering of the very fabric of existence and land in 1968 to watch its big gross movie: 2001: A Space Odyssey.  We discuss a year of awful, awful shit and discuss a movie that really hurts your brain with our special guest Jordan Foisy.

This week, we pull 12gs and explode the time machine into 1998 and watch its big gross movie: Armageddon with our special guest, comedian Jeff McEnery.  Mostly, we yell at it and call it names.

This week we navigate the time machine right into the danger zone, then cunningly pilot out of it to land in 1986 and see its big gross movie Top Gun with our guest Troy Stark.  We discuss an awful space disaster, an awful nuclear disaster, and the most homoerotic mainstream navy aviation themed film ever made.

This week we plant the time machine in 1958 to examine Whoopsy Nukes, Bertrand Russel's hippie insignia and the BS Georgia pulled on Maurice before talking about itès big gross movie: South Pacific with our Guest K. Trevor Wilson

With Special guests Jess Beaulieu and Natalie Norman from the Crimson Wave Podcast we push the time machine back to 1939 when most things were just awful and make it through the endless, depressing masterpiece: Gone With the Wind.  We also talk about the Second World War, Slavery, and pretty dresses.
