This week we saddle up our time horses and head back to 1991 to have another look around and see its number two movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with comedian Shawn Hogan.  We go over art thieves and a 1991 dutch art heist before going over a stunningly beautiful mess featuring Alan Rickman just going BANANAS.

Jun 28, 2017

This week, we start season of number twos and head back to 1995 to look into this one time Canada almost wasn't and then watch the Number 2 highest-grossing movie: Die Hard: With A Vengeance with Guest Meg Ryan Horwood and fwriter/co-host of the I Hate it but I Love it Podcast Jocelyn Geddie.  We go over the undying asshole John McClane, Jeremy Irons' onesie and other delights.

We're back! Dave and Meg have been away because their frail bodies failed them, but thanks to modern science they're back on their feet to go over all our favorite number ones and let you know how the show is gonna work now that we're moving on to the second highest grossing movies and revisiting years.  It's fun! We're back! And so on.

May 17, 2017

This week Meg is on assignment so Will Noye is in her timeseat for a trip to 1992 to continue in our series of Sylvester Stallone Hubris specials, but little did we know Stop or My Mom Will Shoot would work as well as it did.  It's dumb, it's bad, but wow everyone came to play.  Also we go insane.

May 10, 2017

This week we park the time machine and hop in a memory sink to get back to 2011, have a look around and go over its highest grossing movie: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with habitual Potter guest Nile S├ęguin! We go over uprisings, earthquakes, spaceships and new heroes before diving back into the magical school where no-one should logically survive.

May 3, 2017

This week, we switch the time machine to RCS to stop the spin Armstrong style before Heading back to 1966 to have a look around and watch its highest-grossing movie The Bible: In The Beginning which yes, is real and yes, is exactly what you think it is!  We go over the Gemini spacemen, Vietnam as an extension of President Johnson's underpants tackle and then yell about this ridiculous movie.

Apr 26, 2017

This week, Meg's back from flying a special assignment through time and space so we took a nice pleasure cruise to 1993 to catch another in our series of Stallone hubris pictures: Demolition Man!  We go over sexist seashells, Hunka-Chunka, and Wesley Snipes as one of the weirdest and most wonderfully dumb villains in film.

Apr 19, 2017

This week, we continue our ongoing obsession with everything Paul Newman ever did and watch his 1961 excuse for a vacation movie: Paris Blues with special guest Allison Dore! We go over why Ram Bowen (Paul Newman) is terrible and why Sidney Poitier decidedly isn't, parse out Gypsy the Cokehead guitar player and marvel at Louis Armstrong being Louis Armstrong.

Apr 12, 2017

L'Chaim!

This week, Meg is on assignment so Kat Angus is guest Megging for our trip to 1928 to have a look around and watch the highest-grossing movie The Singing Fool with special guest Nigel Grinstead.  We go over whoopsie-doops antibiotic discoveries, pregnancy tests before the stick you pee on and then watch the most horrid thing we've sat through thus far for your entertainment.

Mar 29, 2017

This week Meg is away so we revisited one of the finest auteurs in bad cinema and checked out 1986s Cobra starring Sylvester Stallone, his ego, and some actors I guess.  With Special guest Craig Fay Dave goes over one of the laziest, uncooked movies ever made that is still somehow watchable.

Mar 22, 2017

This week we unwisely fill the time machine with hydrogen and float back to 1937 to have a look around and watch its highest-grossing movie: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with special guest Lucy Gervais! We go over Mae West's cheeky puppet innuendos, an air disaster, several other disasters and then chew through the obviously problematic but wicked pretty cartoon made by moustaches, amphetamines and aaaaaaall the cigarettes.

Mar 15, 2017

This week we pack our aluminium time tubes with yellow cake and fly on back to 2003 to have a look around and then review it's highest-grossing movie The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.  With special guest Blayne Smith we go over the unfortunate events of 2003 and then tussle with Tolkien, Meg's hatred of B-list Hobbits and the fat-shaming of Samwise Gamgee.

Mar 8, 2017

This week to celebrate our hundredth episode we got nostalgic and maybe self-indulgent and invited guest comedian Alex Wood to time vortex thingie back to 1996 and review the movie Dave and Meg conceived the show over: Star Trek First Contact. We sing, we laugh, we posit old-timey borgs and just generally have a grand time.  Thanks for listening.

Mar 1, 2017

This week we invite frequent time flyer Ryan Horwood back to take a trip to 1956 to catch this podcast's favorite actor in his boxing movie: Somebody Up There Likes Me.  We go over the movie and are amazed to find Paul Newman can make old filmed play black and white boxing nonsense watchable as all hell.

With special guest Lukas Stark the mystery entertainer we go over the awful, awful year of dead kings and smog clouds before going over an ode to the deceased Ringling brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, which should have closed good riddance.  This movie is a horrific clown show that almost broke us, Jimmy Stewart playes a murder clown who never takes his makeup off, not even the weirdest part. Tune in!

Jan 25, 2017

This week, Meg's away so 1964 guest Ryan Horwood and I flew back to catch the second highest-grossing movie of 1964, the misogynist masterpiece that needs a long talk about consent while serving prison time: Goldfinger.  Marvel as James Bond is drunk, terrible at his job, and repeatedly captured!  Also he's a sex criminal.

Jan 18, 2017

This week Guest Meg Sam Burns and Special guest Rebecca Reeds man the time pumps on a trip to 1986 to see our Podcast's hero's academy award winning performance in Martin Scorcese's pool movie sequel The Color of Money.  Tiny Tom Cruise spazzes out like six times.  It's Great.
